LED Video Wall Installation, Melbourne

One seamless wall. Not a grid of televisions.

Video Wall, Media Wall, LED Wall - Same Thing

Video wall, media wall, LED wall – people call it different things and mean the same product. What they are describing is one large, unbroken screen: a surface built to the size of the space it lives in, showing one picture across the whole thing.

The old version – a grid of separate LCD panels with a seam every metre – is largely behind us. It cost more, it aged badly, and it never really looked like one picture. A modern LED wall is built from tiles that lock together into a single continuous surface, at whatever size and shape the room needs. That is what we install, and it is what almost everybody means now when they ring and ask for a video wall.

Most of those calls start the same way. The foyer looks tired next to the venue up the road. The projector is on its last legs. The televisions on the wall are too small for the room.

One Picture, No Seams

A modern LED wall is one continuous surface. Stand in front of it and there is no grid, no bezel and no line running through the middle of the picture – which is the whole reason it reads as a wall rather than as several televisions bolted together.

Multiple Feeds at Once

One surface, several pictures whenever you want them. Separate feeds through a race meeting, one enormous image for the main event, and the day’s functions board in between – without anyone touching a cable.

Driven From Behind the Bar

Layouts saved and recalled from a touchpad or a phone. Feeds swapped without unplugging anything. If a booking changes at four o’clock, the wall should show it by one minute past.

Built to the Room, Not Off a Shelf

Walls are made to size, not bought off a shelf. Joinery housings and fabricated shrouds so it finishes flush with the wall it sits in, cabling inside the wall rather than down it, and brighter panels where the space gets direct sun.

Who Does the Work

Cove Technologies holds the electrical and cabling licences in house, so the business that designs the wall is the one that runs the power, pulls the data and mounts the panels. There is no electrician to book, no data contractor to chase and nobody to point at somebody else on handover day. We supply the panels as well – we are an LG-preferred installer and integrator – so supply, installation and support sit on one invoice and one phone number.

Serviced by the People Who Installed It

The technicians who commission your wall are the ones who come back to it. They know how it was cabled, where the processor sits and how your staff actually use it – which is the difference between a fault fixed in an hour and a fault explained over a week.

Design, supply, installation, handover and ongoing support all sit with us. You are not handed a manual and wished luck.

What You Can Specify

Indoor and outdoor walls. Custom sizes and shapes, built to the space rather than to a panel count. Brighter panels for foyers and frontages that catch direct sun. Joinery housing units and custom fabricated shrouds. Touchpad and wireless control. Electrical and data work. Digital signage integration for the hours between events.

A wall can also be leased rather than bought outright – we work with Translease for that. It is worth raising early in the conversation, because it often changes what size wall is actually on the table.

One company, not three. We hold the electrical and data licences in house, along with engineering and steel design for complex LED installations – so there is one contract, one crew and one number to call.

Hiring One Instead?

A fair share of the people searching for a video wall want one for a weekend, not forever – a launch, a race day, a conference, a grand final. That is CoveHire: screens and the LED truck, delivered, rigged, run, and gone again on the Monday.

Same company, same crew, different job. If you are not sure which one you need, describe the event and we will tell you whether it is worth installing or worth hiring.
