Lower Plenty Hotel – Outdoor LED Screen Upgrade
Scope
Lower Plenty Hotel had an existing 6mm pixel pitch outdoor LED screen that had aged and was no longer performing. Rather than rebuild the structure, we specified a product that suited the existing steel frame and upgraded the venue to a 3.9mm pixel pitch screen.
Outcome
The tighter pixel pitch gives a noticeably sharper picture at the shorter viewing distances across the deck and beer garden, and the existing frame was retained, which kept the cost and the disruption down. The screen carries live sport and venue promotions through the day and into the evening.
The finished result has exceeded expectations. The LED screen delivers excellent image quality with sharp pixel resolution, and feedback from both staff and customers has been overwhelmingly positive. It has quickly become a standout feature of the venue, particularly for live sports viewing on the Terrace Deck.
