The questions we get asked on the phone most weeks, answered properly. If yours is not here, call 1300 913 281 or ask for a quote.
Do we need to supply power for a big screen?
No. Our hire truck runs a generator on board and the vision feed is wireless, so there is no mains power to find and no cable runs across your site. The truck drives in, sets up, runs the day and leaves.
That is why “there’s no power out there” is not the obstacle most committees assume it is. We have put 54 square metres of screen in the middle of a racecourse with no site infrastructure at all. If you are hiring a screen into a venue that does have power, we will use it – but nothing depends on it.

How much is a big screen for a day?
It depends on the screen size, how long you need it and how far we are travelling. We quote up front, in writing, with travel included, and we do not add generator, standby or cabling charges afterwards.
Call 1300 913 281 with your date and location and you will have a price the same day.
If your club runs several meets or fixtures a season, ask about a season arrangement. Most clubs find it easier to budget than booking each day separately.
Do you service regional Victoria? Do you work interstate?
Regional Victoria, yes – Gippsland, the Western District, Ballarat, Bendigo and Shepparton regularly. Regional jobs are quoted with travel included so there are no surprises on the invoice.
Interstate is a narrower answer, deliberately. We hold licences in New South Wales, the ACT, Queensland and South Australia, and we use them for large LED screen installations and multi-site rollout programs, where the scale justifies the travel.
Everything else – service, maintenance, call-outs and smaller works – we keep in Victoria. A response time is worth nothing if the crew is a day’s drive away, and we would rather cover one state properly than answer the phone from five.
How long does an LED screen or video wall installation take?
Most venue installs are done on site in a day or two, once the screen has been built and tested in our workshop. The lead time before that depends on the panel specification and the size of the screen, and we give you a date when we quote.
We do the electrical and ACMA-registered cabling work ourselves rather than subcontract it, which is usually what stops jobs like these from slipping.

Who runs the screen once it is installed?
You do, and it takes about ten minutes to learn – or it runs itself.
Cove Live schedules content in advance and switches between live sports scores and your own promotions automatically, so there is nothing for a staff member to remember on a Friday night. If you would rather we managed the content for you, we can.
The thing we will not do is hand over a screen that needs a spare staff member to operate, because you do not have one.
What happens if something goes wrong?
You call 1300 913 281 and you get us, not a ticket queue.
We designed and installed the screen, we did the cabling, and we hold the licences, so there is no argument about whose problem it is. Support and service arrangements are set out when we quote so you know what is covered before you sign anything.
